ARTIST STATEMENT:

This painting is a tribute to the quiet, sacred language of nature, the deep connections between species and place. Through light, colour, and movement, I invite the viewer to step into this moment of wild intimacy and remember the living richness that still surrounds us. the rustle of wings, the creak of old Marri trees, and the haunting calls of the cockatoos echoing through the canopy. In their call, I felt something stir - a reminder that the wild still speaks, and if we are still enough, it will touch our hearts too.
