7032, Numbat Territory After Fire, Kay Gibson

$5,500.00

ARTWORK ID: 7032

CATEGORY: Works on Paper

ARTIST STATEMENT:

I love to work on paper as my art practice incorporates painting and printmaking. In this work I have created a soft ground etching using plants that occur in numbat habitats. To see these beautiful little 'banded anteaters' in the wild is a rare treat indeed. Currently listed as 'endangered' large scale, hot fires contribute to their loss of habitat.

MEDIUM: Soft ground etching and acrylic on rice paper

ARTWORK DIMENSIONS (width x height): 1250mm x 1250mm

WEIGHT (approx): 4kg

ARTIST LOCATION: COWARAMUP, WA
