7021, Water Sprite, Tiffany Forster

$2,200.00

ARTWORK ID: 7021

CATEGORY: Works on Paper

ARTIST STATEMENT:

"Water Sprite" explores the essence of childhood-its purity, spontaneity, and unfiltered joy. My daughter dances in the river shallows, effortless and free, unburdened by time or self-consciousness. She is fully present, lost in the rhythm of water and light, embodying a moment of pure authenticity.

As an adult, I find myself looking back on such moments with both nostalgia and longing. There was a time when joy was simple, when the world was experienced without hesitation or doubt. This piece is an invitation to reconnect with that state of being-to remember what it felt like to dance without fear, to embrace the present without questioning it.

The river itself becomes a metaphor: always flowing, never still, much like the passage of time. Yet, in this captured moment, there is a pause-an eternal space where innocence is preserved, and the wonder of childhood lingers just beyond our reach.

MEDIUM: Pastel

ARTWORK DIMENSIONS (width x height): 700mm x 900mm

WEIGHT (approx): 3kg

ARTIST LOCATION: HALLS HEAD, WA
