ARTWORK ID: 7018
CATEGORY: Works on Paper
ARTIST STATEMENT:
The work explores the relationship between the natural world and constructed space through layered imagery, light, and material. By suggesting landscape elements with translucent surfaces, the drawing points to shifting spatial experiences. Natural forms and architectural structures merge, dissolving clear boundaries between inside and outside, organic and built. Inspired by the architecture of Tadao Ando and the perceptual use of light by the installation artist James Turrell, the work considers how space is not fixed, but shaped through light, memory, and presence.
