I found this boab to be an inspiring metaphor for a time of change. The trunk is solid and stands firm towards the foreground unlike the tangle of branches which appear to be pushed back into the rugged landscape. The sunlight that is shining through the leaves catches the grass and sets it on fire right near the base of the tree. Personally this piece was a battle of perseverance to work through the tedious details of the scenery to find the value in the completed work of art.
