ARTIST STATEMENT:
I created this piece to represent the underlying emotions underneath the surface. Instead of using 'normal' skin tones, I used bright, contrasting colors to represent all the different emotions and thoughts we carry inside us, using myself as a reference. It's a reminder that even when we look calm on the outside, there is a whole world of color moving underneath
