My artwork reflects on the quiet, often overlooked winter season in the Pilbara, a region more commonly associated with heat, red dust and extremes.
In winter, the landscape shifts subtly, it's my season that I love to paint in my arts practice, as when rain reshapes the land, the landscape briefly reveals another version of itself.
It is a beautiful season marked not by absence, but by renewal, perhaps for us all.
