Multi-award winning artist Katherine Samson paints songlines of the lands of the Ngarluma people, the seaside and the coastline. Katherine is also a knowledge holder of seeds and bush tucker. "My art is from my heart, I like telling the stories of how I see it through my eyes of dreaming." This piece an ode to her youth, growing up on a station at Pannawonica Katherine shares memories of being a little girl, "we used to play with these turtles, but we also let them go"
