ARTIST STATEMENT:
In this work I try to capture the fable like quality of the Australian landscape. I got inspired by the everchanging silhouettes of the vegetation and the blazing colours of the ancient mineral rich land. There is an infinite variety of shapes like the windblown ripple patterns in a stretch of sand. In my art, I like to reinvent the harmony of nature and invite the viewer to lose themselves in the serenity of my painted landscape.
