Studio practice sits in constant exchange with daily life. Movement through place, shifting light and fleeting moments of attention carry into the act of working, shaping decisions that often only become clear in hindsight.
The work traces a passage through the day, where observation and internal response converge through painting. Forms emerge, divide and settle, suggesting thresholds or points of transition, where something is encountered and carried forward.
The composition holds a sense of accumulation and movement, as if marking a moment of crossing. Each work becomes a record of that convergence, capturing a condition that can only exist once.
