ARTIST STATEMENT:
Travelling down from the Pilbara to escape the hot summer, we went as far south as we could go, to the cool white sandy beaches of WA. It rained on and off all week, leaving the islands and horizon lines shrouded in mist. The damp sky could not dull the electric blue of the sea. The beauty of the coastline is immense, and intoxicating. Calling me back.
