JUDGES’ COMMENTS:
The dramatic sky and attention to detail in the clouds captivates you, while the subtle yet vibrant glow of the horizon pull the eyes down to the silhouette of the land, creating a strong contrast.

There's a rare magic at 3 Mile Camp, Gnaraloo, where the raw expanse of the desert meets the infinite blue of the sea. This painting captures the quiet shift from night to day-the stars fading, clouds unfolding, and the lingering glow of a quarter moon before the sun takes over.

This piece is the second painting in a series of a sunrise I will never forget. An ode to that moment of transition, where time slows, nature moves effortlessly, and the world is bathed in tangerine light.
