ARTIST STATEMENT:
This is a landscape painting depicting the moving scenery of the Pentecost River Crossing at sunset. I have driven three times through the Pilbara and Kimberley regions to gather creative images.At the Pentecost River Crossing , I observed and collected creative reference images from daytime through to sunset, in the end, I chose the scene of the river crossing under the golden red light at sunset for my painting's theme, which better reflects the uniquely captivating colours and the tranquil atmosphere of the Pentecost River landscape in the Kimberley region.
