ARTIST STATEMENT:
We are not doing enough to protect our planet, it's inhabitants or its fragile ecosystems. Simply demarcating some "significant" areas while desecrating others, is having an irreversible impact on everything we rely on and value in this world. The introduction of plastics to our environment is literally strangling everything it contacts including humans. Microplastics are having a profound effect on our biodiversity, health and environment that we will feel the effects of for generations to come.
