The inherent riches of the outback Australian landscape exist on many levels. We treasure it for its beauty, its mineral wealth, and its long history of Country. "Awe Erosion" celebrates these diverse facets with an abundantly textured harmony of rare pigment Ultramarine Blue and earth pigment Red Oxide. We are never promised another day or another sunrise, so the work of the artist here is to capture and preserve all that is fleeting, a reminder of that awe which may so easily be lost through physical or psychological erosion.
