ARTWORK ID: 2013
CATEGORY: North West Flora and Fauna
ARTIST STATEMENT:
My work is inspired by Australian flora and the colours of the outback, using vivid colour and simplified, organic forms to create a sense of life and personality. I enjoy creating pieces that feel both calm and expressive, where familiar plant forms take on a slightly playful, almost watchful presence. Over several years, I have participated in NAIDOC Week, creating artworks that were sold to support the Aboriginal community. I also exhibited in the Cossack Art Award last year, where my work was successfully sold.
