$650.00
sold out

ARTWORK ID: 2010

CATEGORY: North West Flora and Fauna

ARTIST STATEMENT:

After visiting Exmouth and experiencing the incredible underwater world, I was deeply inspired by the majestic whales I encountered. The beauty of their graceful movements in the ocean, surrounded by the endless blue of the sea and the golden light of the day, left a lasting impression on me. This experience compelled me to capture the moment on canvas.

In my painting, I wanted to convey the feeling of witnessing these magestic creatures in their natural habitat, as if they were part of a beautiful dance. The vibrant blues of the ocean and the soft play of light bring the whales to life, making them seem as though they are floating weightlessly, moving in perfect harmony with the water around them.

This painting is my tribute to the magic of these creatures and the serenity of the ocean that sustains them.

MEDIUM: Acrylic on stretched canvas

ARTWORK DIMENSIONS (width x height): 750mm x 750mm

WEIGHT (approx): 1.4kg
