ARTIST STATEMENT:

Adansonia gregorii - Australian Boab Tree. Having lived in the Kimberley I fell in love with Boab trees. Each have an individually unique form and beauty capable of providing food, water and shelter. They are truly amazing and for a long time have inspired me to paint them . I painted on a rusted sheet of metal to add to the rustic look of the trees and reflect the pindan earth.
