This painting is about how we as a society believe we need to medicate ourselves in order to be 'normal' or function 'normal'. We like to change or fix our differences than be who we naturally are. We take certain medications to fit in to be like everyone else/ fix ourselves, to all be the same or be 'normal'. But is there really something 'wrong' with you? Does it really need to be 'fixed'? Is it really a problem that you're not 'normal'? Why do we have to be 'normal'? Don't you like us the way we are?
